5'1 & FUN

Hi! I'm Jayna Glynn, a 22 year old senior Musical Theatre major at Missouri State University! I am originally from Neenah, Wisconsin, moved to Bentonville Arkansas at 16, and am now preparing to move to NYC this fall!

I'm joyful, bubbly, authentic, hard-working, funky, and a big fan of strawberries! I stop to smell the roses, wear colorful clothes, and dream of the jazz club I hope to open one day. I've been described as "glitter in human form", and if that's true, I hope it's pink glitter :)

After spending the first 12 years of my life at the piano, in 2014 I was introduced to acting and haven't stopped since! Musical theatre is my passion - I love to share joy through storytelling and artistic collaboration. To sing, act, and dance is a dazzling magic. There's nothing like it!

The past year has been full of creating! I was the 2nd place winner of the American Pops Orchestra Next Gen Competition at Lincoln Center in 2023 & 2024.  Following the competition, I played Cynthia Weil in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at Tent Theatre. This fall, I had the honor of playing Carrie Pipperidge in Carousel, alongside Tony Nominated Josh Young as Billy & Broadway's Emily Padgett as Julie. In March, I will be traveling to NYC for my senior showcase at The Green Room 42! â€‹

Along with performing, I love to play piano for pit orchestras/weddings, and am a wedding MC/DJ. I make covers of my favorite songs on Instagram (@jaynaglynnmusic) and love to sing and perform for open mics/special events. I have a passion for theatre education, and have extensive experience with music direction! On the side, you can find me crocheting scarves for my business @crochetalldaybae. Life is short, create the art!

Music changed my life, and I'm overjoyed to dedicate my life to spreading that music around the world. The world is my oyster!

XO,
